Frank Petruzzelli is the Principal Partner at MDB Taxation and Business Advisors Pty Ltd. The firm provides Accounting and Management Services to large private organisations and ASX listed Companies. Frank’s mission is to help all MDB clients sleep well at night – he manages the team who make sure your business affairs are always perfectly in order.
Frank specialises in tax planning and asset protection and ensures the team has technical skills of a larger firm but never loses sight of the practical outcomes all businesses need from a tax-planning firm.
Frank, who holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, is a Fellow of both the National Tax and Accountants’ Association and the Institute of Public Accountants. A registered Tax Agent on the board of directors for the Institute of Public Accountants, he is also a former director and chairman of over 6 listed ASX companies and has been in public practice since 1985. Frank also has a keen interest in property development having being part of multiple projects from Land subdivisions to developments with over 60 self-contained living spaces when it comes to property, tax and wealth Frank brings years of experience to MDB.

Anna Petruzzelli, a Senior Tax Accountant, boasts over 30 years of experience in the accounting industry, serving as the backbone of the family-owned and operated Petruzzelli team. She holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, is a Certified Practising Accountant, a Registered Tax Agent, and a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants. Anna’s diverse experience spans multiple industries, including seven years as a financial controller in shipping, engineering, and medical colleges, and over 18 years in public practice.
Fluent in both English and Italian, Anna provides exceptional service to a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals, focusing on saving tax and maximizing wealth. Her expertise lies in managing the taxation, financial, and investment needs of small to medium-sized businesses across various industries. With a keen interest in property investment, Anna is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their financial goals while navigating the complexities of the accounting world.
Lawrence Petruzzelli

Lawrence brings a dynamic background spanning multiple industries, from running a photography business at a young age to managing an NDIS business today. As the driving force behind the social media marketing for MDB Taxation & Business Advisors, he leverages his vast knowledge in technology, marketing, and personal development to deliver exceptional results. Lawrence is a wizard at tech, tax, and multiplying wealth, automating mundane tasks to free up time for what matters most. He’s been featured in media publications Yahoo Finance, HCA Magazine, Business Business Business, Savvy SME as well as on various podcasts such as the get rich slow club, evolve entrepreneur after hours, on TV with ticker news as well as being invited to speak and present on stage at many business events to educate on tax and business advice.

Ches has been in public practice over 30 years with experience in advising Small to Medium sized businesses in various industries, entrusted with their accounting, management, and taxation needs. He has also operated businesses in the Clothing Industry, specialising in garment screen printing as well as operated a Building company focusing on multi-level Residential Apartments.

Christian brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Accounting field, he started over 10 years ago as a graduate at MDB and has excelled over the years. He has specialised knowledge around Personal Services Income, building, trades, hospitality and retail trade. Christian is also is quite a talented by now retired football player
Inderjeet Kaur

Inder is our SMSF expert. She moved to Australia in 2008 to study Masters in Accounting and Financial Management from La Trobe University. She is a qualified CPA with more than 10 years experience in the accounting industry. She joined MDB in 2018 and has since been a valuable team member.
Inder is a SMSF enthusiast and is well versed in everything SMSF from investments in various asset classes to pension and smsf compliance. She is aiming to become an SMSF Specialist Advisor in the near future.
Nathan Bacchin

Nathan started at MDB whilst studying his Bachelors of Accounting and after graduation has been a valued Accountant now with multiple years of experience under his belt. Nathan has worked with clients across multiple industries as well as being the out sourced CFO for a large recruitment firm in Melbourne. Nathan also is related to the Petruzzelli family continuing the legacy of MDB being a family owned and operated company.

Matthew joined MDB before completing his studies and has excelled in learning a wide range of skills. He has a keen interest in superfunds and loves to challenge himself to build his knowledge and skillset rapidly.

Piumi is an integral part of our team, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles in AU and UK companies. Holding an MBA from the University of Northampton, United Kingdom, and currently pursuing her CPA qualification in Australia, Piumi has demonstrated exceptional skills in assisting with all administrative functions and supporting us in delivering top-notch service to our clients.
